Driver CD is not needed, Operation:
Charge Pencam with either the wall plug or plugged into the computer.
Turn on Pencam by pressing the top button, The light in the back will turn Amber, (this is the standby mode)
Pressing the top again turns the light blue (This is the record mode) it is now recording.
Press the top again to stop recoding and back into stand by mode (Amber light)
Press and hold top for a few seconds to turn off.
If pen doesn't light up, stick a pin through the hole below the cam to reset it (SEE VIDEO) To View recordings.
Plug Pencam into USB port on your computer view files on the Penacam the same way you would any flash drive using explore to navigate to the drive, The recording are located in the "Movie" folder.
Window media player will not play these file.
The files play fine in quicktme or we recommend the free VLC Media player you can download it here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Right click on file to view select open with VLC media Player
Set Time
To set time using “Notepad” createa text file named “setdate.txt”
Type the current date and time in this format 2009-03-11 10:45:30
Save the file to the root directory of the pencam. Remove Pencam from computer and turn it on. Time and date will be set
